Current Positions:
Since October 2023, I have been appointed by the International Council for Philosophy and Humanistic Studies (ICPHS/CIPSH) at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to serve as a member of the organization’s advisory board in logic coordinating the UNESCO World Logic Day and making relevant strategic and long-term decisions regarding its interactions with logic communities around the world.
Since August 2023, I have served as the official representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran before the Division of Logic, Methodology, and Philosophy of Science and Technology (DLMPST) of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science (IUHPST).
Since June 2023, I have been appointed as the deputy director of foreign affairs at the Iranian Institute of Philosophy (IRIP) where I help with devising foreign policies and managing academic and diplomatic relations of the institute with its foreign counterparts.
In September 2021, I was invited to join the scientific board of the Logic and Religion Association (LARA) where I provide scientific consultation to LARA on their planning for future programs and collaborations.
In July 2021, I was invited to join the advisory board of the Logic Association of Malaysia (PMM) where I provide scientific and administrative consultation to the PMM on their planning for future programs and collaborations.
Since March 2021, I am the vice president of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Fundamental Sciences (IRFS) at Arak University. I supervise and coordinate a broad range of scientific and industrial projects on interactions of mathematics, theoretical computer science, physics, philosophy, and biology.
Past Positions:
Between March and August 2023, I taught several logic, and theoretical computer science courses at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Kharazmi University as an adjunct professor. I also assisted in international programs at the university.
Between November 2020 and March 2021, I have been a visiting scholar at the School of Mathematics of the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) where I conducted my research on a set-theoretic project concerning infinitary combinatorics and tree property.
Between March 2019 and March 2020, I have been a non-resident researcher at the School of Mathematics of the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM).
Between January 2019, and January 2022, I served as an elected member of the board of directors of the Iranian Association for Logic (IAL). As part of my policy, I tried to expand the international relationships between the IAL and its foreign counterparts as well as deepen the IAL ties with the domestic universities and research institutes.
In August 2016, I have been appointed as the chief editor of the official News Bulletin of the Iranian Association for Logic (IAL) for one year. As part of my editorial work, I collaborated with many colleagues around the world to provide a collection of articles titled “Logic around the World“.
In March 2014, I have started my work as a Research Assistant at the School of Mathematics of the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) for two successive years. During that period I worked on several set-theoretic topics including tree property, Shelah cardinals, and non-well-founded set theory.
In March 2012, I was appointed the coordinator of the logic group at the Amirkabir University of Technology for three years. My particular duty was to organize local events and manage the public communications of the group with the other scientific organizations in and out of the country.
